Extra long wheel base?

Can anyone tell me why my 67 f-100 4x4 has a 150 inch wheel base? All the specs I can find say 131 inch is the wheelbase for a long bed.

Not being a smart ass, but are you measuring from center to center of the wheels.?

What does the door tag on this thing say?

Have you tried using the Gallery for the picture, I think it will allow a larger file than a simple attachment.

I thought '67 had some oddball long bed lengths, 8-10' long.

Every time I attempt to add a picture it says file is too big.

You can change the picture size with Microsoft paint right click the picture you want and select copy, on your desktop right click in any open space and click paste, now you have a copy to play with. Right click the copied file and click open with paint, click the resize button, on the drop down menu change from percentage to pixels, change the horizontal tab Value to 1000, click OK and exit out, your done. For most pictures this will get you below the 500KB maximum allowed for posting. If you want to know how large your picture is right click the file and click properties somewhere in there it will tell you the kilabyte's. Always make a copy of the original so if you mess up you still have the original. Sounds like a lot but real easy.

I'm with DuckRyder - what does the door tag say? I believe the shortbed crew cabs had a WB that was just shy of 150".

It says regular cab (81) and 131 inch wheel base. You can see pics at Ford truck enthusiasts .com under "extra long wheelbase"?

A regular cab transplanted on to a crew cab chassis, maybe? It would explain the wheelbase and door plate.
