Squeaky Steering Wheel

Hi All. I am getting a relatively sharp squeak when I turn the wheel. It sounds like it is right at the steering wheel. Should I just spray some silicone in the area of the nut that holds on the wheel? TIA

Bearing(s) fell apart. Should think about rebuilding steering column.
