'70 f100 Power Brake question
My 70 f100 came with factory power drum brakes and now needs a new brake booster. I intend to do a disc brake swap from a 73-79 f150 in the near future but dont want to buy two different brake boosters. My question is; if i go ahead and get a direct replacement for the 1970 booster, will it work with the disc brake set up?

Re: '70 f100 Power Brake question
My truck came from the factory with power disc brakes, so I have not had to deal with this, so no personal experience with it. From my reading I believe you can still use your original 1970 power booster (hopefully someone else with direct experience will chime in), you will have to use a master cylinder for disc brakes, and you may have to do something with your metal brake lines, as they might be slightly different with adding the disc brakes. Here is some interesting information in regards to power boosters, difference between 1973-1977 1/2 vs later 1977 thru 1979 disc brake swaps etc. Let us know how things work out.
