Emergency brake cable retainers
What are you guys doing to replace the little springs that are supposed to hold the E-Brake cables over toward the shock mounts?

I buy them up on E-bay when they show up. Also I keep an eye out in salvage yards and grab them. I'll use them some day.
I suppose a universal type spring from the hardware store would work also.

1972 F-250 Explorer Special, Camper Special.
1971 F-100 custom. 302, C-4, p.s. p.b. factory 65 amp alternator with transistorized voltage regulator.
Another 67 F-100 4x4 custom cab.

Generic extension springs from Lowes etc.

6-8" if memory serves. Screen door springs work well. Just keep cutting them shorter until they fit well.
