'67 Ranger upper side trim

Hi Folks-
Kind of new to Fords and need some guidance here-
On a '67 Ranger- The upper side trim that runs down the bump- I have seen two trucks now where it stops at the back of the cab but many more where it runs down the bedside as well. I know a lot of mayhem can occur in 50 years but I was wondering if either is correct? Seems to me that it should run all the way back, but what do I know?!?

Im pretty sure if it has the belt line trim its supposed to go all the way down cab and bed. The bed trim often got rubbed off in some unfortunate truck work related incidents so I can see where they would be most commonly missing.

Thanks! I was thinking that myself but the parts truck I got has no rear (upper bedside) trim and no holes to show there ever was. Aaah, lots of things can happen in 50 years!
