Put it on my list of what to do when I don't have anything to do vaguely remember the original condition but, from then to now and watching it on a computer screen says a lot

I just wish the audio was a tad louder. What's not to like about screaming race cars for 98% of the movie?

One thing that's sad / interesting is Steve died of a form of cancer that was caused by the material in the fire proof wrap he wore around his face. There's a 'making of Le Mans' out there that I actually watched a couple months ago that was very interesting.

I watched the same documentary, he also was exposed to asbestos when he was in the Navy which did not help. Thanks for posting the link, this movie made me a car guy in 1971, I saw it in the theatre as an 8 year old. I can still not get enough of a flat 12 Porsche sound.
