Vintage Video at the assembly plant

Post by radioactivelarry »

I ran across this video while surfing YouTube. It is a video of Martha and the Vandellas singing their song "No Where To Run" while singing their way through the Ford Mustang assembly plant either Dearborn or San Jose in 1965.
If you don't like the music mute it and watch how they hand sprayed the paint on the body parts, the assembly line as the Mustang's is put together, engine and trans installed and other assemblies then driven off the line.
Pretty cool.
While not a Ford Pickup the same techniques were used then.
