Grill mods

Post by mustang68 ranger71 »

I'm thinking about attaching my grill on my 71 F-100 to the hood like the newer ones so that when you open the hood the grill goes up with it. Any one out their ever done this or seen it done?

Sounds impossible given how it fits against the fender. It wouldnt clear it to open. It would really get in the way if you had to work on it plus your hood would look like it had a serious overbite.

Ditto, you must be a midget as I crack my noggin on the hood latch as is. Couldn't imagine it with 18" of grill hanging off the front end.
