I didn't use the 73 chassis because the rear of it was very rusty and would have required a full teardown of all brackets and cross members to rid it of the rust. my stock 67 rails were in great shape so it made more sense to swap the front end components. that also meant that I got to keep my VIN on the frame rails. It's all complete now and painted so pictures will follow.hfdco4 wrote:So tell me why you didn't use the 4x4 frame, or at least the front half of it?

I’ve got a 2wd 69 F250 from California that I’m wanting to convert too with a rusty 4x4 Ohio truck. How do you find your build on the book? And what are you going to do for power steering? And it’s looking good so far

Did you find a reseal kit for the knuckles ? I have a big ball HD44 that I’m having a hard time finding a reseal kit for.

Thanks, I've just been posting updates over the last year on the Fordification facebook page. I bought an electric power steering from Steermancycle.comBig specht wrote:I’ve got a 2wd 69 F250 from California that I’m wanting to convert too with a rusty 4x4 Ohio truck. Bronco graveyard has parts as well. I have a new set of wiper seals for the large ball axles. Also have a new set of front brake lines.
