So I'm browsing around and thought I'd take a look there. There were 3 recalls against my '69, two of which were brake fluid and master cylinder related. I installed a new master and brake fluid as a matter of course before I put it on the road. I did have a pesky problem with the right side door though. When it gets cold (below about 40) the door won't latch reliably and even popped open once on my way to work. I looked at adjustment and everything looked OK.
The third safety recall was for right side door latches that could fail under certain conditions (like when you need the door to stay closed??
I intend to head straight to my local Ford dealer as soon as spring gets here to have the recall completed
Since I know some of those guys it'll be worth the laugh.
