Opened up the hood the other day and discovered my power steering dipstick was gone. I have no idea why. Vibrations maybe? Anyhow, I find myself in the market for a new dipstick. I'm pretty sure that same reservoir/pump setup was the same on many engines for many years, but thought I'd double check here before just grabbing one that looks right. NOS ones seem to be fetching a pretty penny and I'm fine with non-stock stuff as long as I know it will read correctly. Any suggestions on making sure I get the right one?
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Power Steering Dipstick
NPD (National Parts Depot) has an exact repro. Click on the link, click on Steering, then click on power steering pump. It is for the 1967-1977 Ford trucks (cap, power steering pump reservoir exact repro). There are two listed #3A006-3A for $11.07 and #3A006-3C for $12.95, not sure what the difference is on them.
