shift tube

Post by michael69 »

:help: Can someone give me a part# and where to get a shift tube that fits automatic column with manual steering. All I can find are for 3 speeds and autos with p/s. I need one for manual steering automatic column. :help:

You might want to post in the Fordification parts wanted section, or go to the Fordification Face book to see if there is anything there. Here is some info that Keith made up for steering column part numbers. It is a great reference: http://www.fordification.com/partnos/st ... column.htm
There are steering column tubes listed there with the part numbers.

Hope this helps!

Thanks already have, and on that info Keith posted. The numbers all come back for manual trans with power steering or auto with power steering when I look them up. Wish I could just find a good complete automatic manual steering column but having no luck with that either. Thanks again

You might try asking over on ford-trucks.com. There’s a fella over there by the name of numberdummy who will almost certainly be able to track down the part number for you.
