CV swap measurment difference

Post by Olejohnny »

After measuring several times and drilling the holes for the dowell pins on the cv sub frame, I am 1/4 off. Is this an acceptable amount of difference? Should I weld up and redrill or make a larger hole to adjust?

I would use a die grinder to move the holes where you need them, then weld the spacers in place once the alignment is correct.

1/4" off from what? Are they both too far forward or backwards or is one 1/4" off from the other?

I was 1/4 too far left (drivers side). Was able to get corrected.
