1969 F100 Brake Pedal Return Spring?
1969 F100 240 3spd. My first restoration. Didn't take good enough pictures of the brake/clutch pedal assembly during tear down. I have the same assembly shown in the attached pictures, though. Issue is whether there is a brake pedal return spring and, if so, where does it go? LMC shows a brake pedal return spring and I can't see how it could be installed on my pedal assembly. Doesn't brake pressure return the pedal? Realize there may be different versions, but am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for the assist. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You are correct. Brake hydraulic pressure should return your pedal. There is no official brake pedal return spring. I have randomly hooked an off the shelf spring on mine from the pedal to under the dash but that's not fixing the root problem which is brake fluid pressure probably caused by a weak master cylinder, wheel cylinder, brake springs, air in the lines or bad seal on the master cylinder cap.

Appreciate this response. Any chance you know about the clutch side of this clutch/brake assembly? I have another question about a clutch pedal return spring in the DRIVETRAIN forum.
