Think we blew a radiator hose or perhaps water pump on Ranger ( a little one not a bump)

Sorry I can't get to you, Robert! People are out at work and I'm pulling triple duty. No way the PTB will let me leave :cuss: .

At least it died near a hotel...

Got ahold of family F150 with trailer on the way... its always something!

I appreciate the consideration... don’t know what made me throw the work computer in the truck for the weekend but at least I can work remotely while waiting...

Glad you're not stranded! Any other time I would've just bailed on work and come hang out with you. :hd:

LOL,

Got it home:

It appears the water pump GASKET is leaking its very hard to see where it is, so I will have to take it apart tomorrow and see what’s really up.

This is really crimping my old truck working on time/style...

Well, to bring this to a close.

The water pump gasket blew between the small lower bolts. this was a new Ford gasket installed a ~400 miles ago with a new timing cover and gasket and water pump.

I do remember I wasn’t thrilled with this gasket... next time I will pay more attention to my little voice because that was a pretty expensive 5 dollar gasket...
