Rims

Post by Mcyoung4 »

I have a 1970 bump
My question is will the rims for a 79-75 fit my truck? I am buying new rims so am trying to find nice rims, the place I am buying them they don’t go back that far. Any help would be awesome 1/2 ton 5 bolt.

Yes the 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern was used on Ford 1/2 tons from '96 and earlier.
There were some F100s in '80-82? that used the car pattern.

Real early rims may not fit over disc breaks.

Just fyi the brake hub and rotor is the same part number from 73-96. The only thing you need to watch is make sure the center bore or pilot will clear on aftermarket wheels. Older wheels were lugcentric and newer stuff tends to be hubcentric
