WOT...Deer oh deer-where have you gone?!

Post by basketcase0302 »

Wanna see some venison pics and some racks guys!

Most of you know my health won't let me climb into a tree stand anymore after 2008... :(
So I now have this buck that now teases me, (grunting at me and the dogs for 15 minutes two days ago) and he's coming within 75 yards of my new home here in the swamps of Florida. My property is zoned agricultural and I can legally hunt, (Florida states without license on my own property). But I can't safely shoot this buck as I'd have to shoot across the roadway or in the direction of a neighboring home 1/8 mile away. And my health won't allow me to use a compound bow either, (loved archery in South Florida for some 6 seasons).
So...I'll do some research on getting my crossbow permit for next year and hope to hang this buck in the back yard for Christmas dinner.
Got pics of his hoof track in the yard but won't ever use my bandwidth to upload to "image hosting sites" ever again-simply can not afford to be held hostage ever again by someone who has MY pictures. :(

So who here's got venison this year? C'mon share the backstrap and sausage with a disgruntled deer hunter LOL!
