Shortening 1971 chassis
Read some posts in shortening here. I believe its 16" behind cab and 4 off the end? For the 16" cut would a "z" cut be best. I've only seen a angle cut on the posts. Had a c10 and did a z cut and fish plate.

Amazing as it sounds Ford simply made the cut and plated it on the inside on every single one ton they lengthened to the 135" chassis."ebaby35"]Read some posts in shortening here. Thanks photobomb for my not being able to link up a few good pics of the one on my one ton.
