For those of you have done the swap, will a 74-79 column fit with no issues in a 69 truck? I know the plug may be different because the emergency flasher switch on mine is in the glove box. I can rewire the plug to make it work, just wondering about the shaft length and mount holes lining up.
Thanks in advance

This is about installing a tilt column but should answer most of your questions. http://www.fordification.com/tech/tilt.htm
