been awhile since I posted. Sorry. Hope all is well with u all. Especially down in the south with the bad weather.
today I took home a load of new flooring for my house. guy said it was 1400#s. I said we will find out if itll handle it. I said u wont hurt this old truck. I wasn't too worried about it. It did look like a low rider though.
ive been to the dump and the truck weights roughly 4200#s. 1967 ford f100 with probably blown shocks and springs and leaf springs from wat I saw today. 360/390 motor and c6 3 speed tranny.
Thanks all for ur opinion as I don't want to hurt my old truck to bad or at all after putting the time and $ ive put into it.

Re: my truck load capacity
not sure if I already posted this here or on FB put whats the size of camper I could haul on a bumper hitch if I wanted down the road? I was looking at a lil jayco 21footer single axle I think it was on CL earlier this month.

Re: my truck load capacity
From your description I would say you need to freshen up your suspension first and a trailer brake wouldn't hurt.
Then you should be able to handle it.
I pulled a 1957 27' Streamline several miles with my 68 with no trouble. course mine is a CS with a freshened suspension.
Stay safe and keep on Trucking.........John

May your sails stay full, and your knots not slip. Unless a slip knot.
