This will be my only fuel tank, its filler protrudes through the drivers lower bed side. I removed the old tank, leakey and had bad gas (varnish), besides, got a newer tank for cheep. I removed the large metal skid plate, the mounting metal bands and some other brackets (that hold the other side of the skid pan). Now putting everything back together, I think I'm missing a piece.
I painted the two bands and three brackets, 5 things because I have 5 hangers.....well I only got 4 things now.
So what I am asking, if anyone has this tank and its mounting can be seen in some pics, either with the skid plate mounted or with out it. Or if anyone has pics of a frame tear down and it shows this tank, can you please post them, I need to see what I am missing. I have looked all over the place for a missing, freshly painted bracket....and having no luck. I think I have the front band mount figured out, its the rear band that I can't find where to connect one side. (knew I should have taken pictures)
thanks.
