Hi, just thought I would check in and update any of you who still remember me from the early days here. I haven't owned a bump in maybe 7-8 years, since I sold the 69 crew cab. Now I have gravitated toward older stuff.
Here is a shot of my present daily driver, the 59. And a couple pics of the 40 tonner panel project.
Also have a 36 Ford 5 window coupe I'd like to get a start on and a 62 Ranchero I haven't decided what to do with.

back! Glad you are checking in! Looks like you got some nice projects there. Nice 59' 4X4; not to many of those running around anymore that could be driven daily. That Caddy peaking out of the corner of the 40 looks sweet!

I try to rescue a couple cars a year, most of them I don't keep. The 56 Sedan Deville hadn't ran in 20+ years. I got it running good, all good brakes, lights all working and it was at the point the money pit part was about to set in so I found it a new home. Also had a nice low mile 71 Coupe Deville about the same time and passed it along too.

long time no hear from, welcome back...
Those are cool, I almost never see the body style of the 59 around here, I don’t think I have ever seen a 4x4...

Re: O/T
59 is the first year Ford built a 4x4. Before that they were conversions by companies like Marmon Herrington or Naapco.
