Hey folks
Is there a way to identify if a badged explorer is actually factory trimmed rather than a clone?
Thanks

What year? First see if you can find the build sheet stuck under the seat bottom or back springs or even under the mat. Otherwise, I believe the surest way to get proof would be through a Marti Report (https://www.martiauto.com/martireports.cfm)
He has all the factory decoding info from '67 up for a reasonable price. This is stuff Ford doesn't access completely any more.

Re: Explorer Trim
Thanks Mike, I don't have the truck just looking. It appears to have correct paint/bumper guards and glove box badge but seat and mirrors are different. I'll do some more digging.
