F-100 with racing stripes?

Has anyone seen a f-100 with racing stripes. I know I'm going some kind of blue probably grabber blue had the crazy idea of white racing strips. Thoughts or pictures?

My brother had a dark blue '77 F-250 with the Explorer package which had white strips along the dent side and up around the hood. I always like the looks of it.

I was thinking maybe 2 white stripes down the hood across the cab and on the tailgate kinda like a Shelby mustang but I don't no

Really popular back in the late 70's. The lines of the truck really don't lend themselves to it well (they looked kind of dumb to me). I guess if your truck was running a CV front end and had bigs and littles tire combo with a raucous powerplant then they would look OK. Basic trucks, not so much.

I do them in vinyl before paint, or the duplicolor peal off stuff.

I've got a red 72 with a pair of black racing stripes on the hood. I think they work on some trucks but not on others. I will try to find a pic to post.
