Sound's like you were really enjoying yourself on the bed, Just kidding :D It really shows how much effort that you put into it. Don't see many beds that straight and clean inside and out. I don't think I would have that much dedication to remove 17 pieces of the bed and put it back together.

I'm not going to have to do anywhere near the work on my 2 beds to make 1 and I have been putting it off for a long time now. One of those things that you clear the schedule for because you know it's going to take a lot of time. I only have to do the floor, front panel and prep the rest.

Did you get anymore information on the headers ? I put a set of ceramic heddman's on my highboy and know the starter is going to be a pain when I have to change it.

I'm currently doing a restoration on my Dads 1973 Jeep Gladiator. The guy that's painting it is 66 years old. He's very good but plans to retire soon. I want to restore my 1971 F100 next. It's in really good condition. One repaint and always garaged. New Jersey isn't that far

That's a lot of hours ($$$$) getting the body back together. Almost a pity the owner didn't just import a decent body from the west coast.

he had that option......... my experience is even most the "solid" and/or "rust free" bodies have rust festering in all the usual places. they all become a can of worms to some extent; but yes, some more than others

this one is done and will never rust out again, and yes, he paid for it
