Some of the other junk I work on.

Post by hdpusher »

This is some of the other junk I've built over the years.

The black one is mine. I made the frame, tank, bars, pipes and seat by hand. I made the frame from chrome molly tubing, stripped and saved weight every other place I could. So I ended up with a very light 9 feet long motorcycle that will absolutely fly.

The Blue bike is one we did for a customer a few years back. I did most of the metal work on this one too. I am especially proud of the gas tank on this one with the inserted gauges. My partner in crime at the time did the paint work.

Haha. Smooth roads? Nope they pretty much suck  Never tried the Kidney belt thing. We usually never go more than 150 miles per day so its not that bad. And believe it or not it rides better than my lowered Softail did.

You say you had an old shovel? I take it your used to being sore and numb after a ride too. I love the sound of a old Shovels, Iron Heads, and Pans. I can pick em out of a crowd every time. 8)

Yeah I had a 79 super glide (3 different ones to be exact ) started out on an Iron head sporty when I was 17(many moon ago)I've got a pic of my last one on here somewhere :hmm: I fliped the swingarm to lower it and it rode like a rigid  I had a lot of fun on it  but, times have changed and I don't need the headache or the backache
