Repair Manuals

Post by massillon preacher »

I think I already know the answer to this but what are your opinions, would you recommend purchasing the actual Ford Shop Manuals for your truck or a Haynes or Chilton's manual?

Rockauto has the reprints. I got them for my 67, all three books shipped for less than $50. Just a heads up.

Ditto, early years were just one book but the later models cover some of the big stuff too. Reprint is much nicer vs. the others.

Haynes and Chiltons tell you what to do, Factory tells you how to do it.

Go for the real thing. I got a set of the year specific Ford manuals off of ebay. With lots of searching and being patient I got them for less than $30.

Reprints or original factory service manuals are a big benefit if youre serious about your F100.
