If you had a choice....
What would you drive daily?
1984 F250 diesel...6.9/4spd,3.55s 2wd
OR
1972 F250 Camper Special, 360/4 spd 2wd
Reason I am asking is I have a chance to trade my 84 F250 diesel for a 72 F250. My diesel is a decent truck, but I am itching to get another bump...
What to do?
BTW I am going to look at the 72 in the morning, but the guy says its a real clean truck, power brakes and manual steering.

Re: If you had a choice....
Personally I prefer 4wd over 2wd's, especially living in Colorado, hunting and fishing in the mountains. 2wd's fall a little bit short at times.

Re: If you had a choice....
I wish it were 4wd...and AC, I am planning on an aftermarket system anyway. The diesel's ac doesnt get cold fast, but works. I just dont use AC.

Re: If you had a choice....
The '72.
I **understand them.**
RE: 4wd, my '67 2WD with chains on all four will go anywhere that I have any business going. If I can't get there in that truck, my '94 F150 4wd would probably be in trouble, too, and I should just stay home and have a single malt or three.

That is great. Glad to hear it.
