Fuel tank transfer valve.

Today I noticed it was wet around the fuel transfer valve. Gas was coming up around the shaft. I new it was pretty well worn awhile ago so I bought one from LMC. I replaced it tonight. I took the old one apart and the shaft was broken around the keeper only half way so it still worked but leaked. Anyway the new valve does not work the same way as the old one different positions. Does anyone have an original valve they would like to part with. Also the new valve came with to small of brass fittings for the fuel line's so I took the ones off the old valve. After installation of the valve onto the truck I realized the gas lines were to short because of the different design of the new valve. Off to the parts store I go. Probably good to replace the lines anyway. Would a small leak affect the idle of the truck. Seems better now.

I am guessing you are looking for a manual operated valve? Two or three position? I have one I think thank was three position if you are interested.
