Wanting to Get Back In the Game

Post by Subzero »

Been awhile since I've posted on the forums, actually sold the F100 in my profile pic a few months back. She's now somewhere in NY, and weeks after I sold it I regretted it immensely. I attempted to buy it back but I could not afford the price they wanted to sell t to me being I could possibly find another one day cheaper. I put a lot of work in the F100 and ended up deciding to sell my 6.0 diesel too. Funny thing I haven't missed that diesel one bit but I kee kicking myself for selling the F100; didn't know what I had. After saving up some money for a new truck, it seems the market is much different than when I bought mine back in the beginning 2013. I'd love to find a 4wd truck for under $9K in good rust free shape. I'm located in the Hampton Roads area of VA so if anyone knows of any 4wd trucks or even a nice 2wd for the price somewhere near me, I'd love to find one and possibly own another bump side

fwiw a '76-'79 F150 is a good 4wd donor,
The cabs will bolt on ,and you get disc brakes , low range and power steering

I've seen some decent trucks here in Colorado, bit of a trip, but they all have their cancer issues, some lesser than others, but there are afew solid trucks here and there.

Welcome back, and I hope you find what you are hunting for. Let me know if I can help here out west.
