Engine tag

Engine tag
I am reading and of the understanding there should be an engine tag ony 71 Ford, where would that be? I keep seeing different answers. Is it on passengers side, drivers side, top, bottom, front or back of engine.

On my 1968 360 engine it is on the coil hold down bolt. I have heard some people say it can be on the distributor hold down bolt as well.
