I have a 1971 ford f100 truck. I was going to rebuild the carburetor but I'm not sure which one is on there. It's a motorcraft 2 barrel. The id is gone but on the side it's stamped 1ZA. And on the bowl it has 1.08 in a circle.
Can anybody id which carburetor this is. Thanks

Re: Motorcraft carburetor id
I would think that it's a Motorcraft 2100/2150.

That's what I was thinking. I've also heard the z means it's for a mustang... Just trying to figure out if it's the right carburetor for the truck or not.

From what I can tell from research on these carbs it does look like the Z indicates mustang. It may not be the original carburetor, but it still could be the "correct" kind. What size engine do you have?Ccoop32 wrote:That's what I was thinking. I've also heard the z means it's for a mustang... Just trying to figure out if it's the right carburetor for the truck or not.

You can double check on the forums but I'm pretty sure 302's on our trucks came stock with 1.08 carbs. Sounds like somebody just swapped one on from a mustang 289/302.
