Radiator

Post by lennyp »

I'm looking for a radiator for my 1972 ford f250 4x4 with a 360 engine. I'm looking for a new radiator like the one the truck originally came with, not a plastic one. If anyone has bought a radiator like this please let me know where you got it from. Thank you.

Do you happen to know the part number? I have sent one back because it came with plastic and would too like an all metal one.

Good news is that I bought mine from Auto Zone about 8 years ago. It was all brass and copper construction and was even better the super cool type I needed. There is a difference in the standard and supercool.Bad news is that it was stashed away in a warehouse in Arizona somewhere and it took almost two weeks to arrive. That and the fact that the radiator cost me right at 450 bucks.

If the tanks are still good on your old radiator, why not just get a new core put in it. Should be a radiator shop somewhere near you that could help you out. Just a thought.

I would do that, but I don't have the original radiator.
