CV IFS instsall template

Post by fuzzier1 »

Ok Guys, finally found a place I can get my pickup in to remove the VERY TIRED 360 and start to replace the front end with a CV. I know someone put together a template for the dimensions to install said CV. First question is where can I find the template as my initial look at the Project Update posts and didn't see it (although I didn't take much time looking). Second question, for those who used it, are the numbers accurate? Of course I will use the dimensions and then check, double check and even triple check before making any cuts but it is a starting place.

Oh and by the way, anyone here looking for an Edelbrock intake and carburetor for an FE motor? When I take the 360 out I am going to pull the intake and sell it here or elsewhere depending on if anyone here wants it. Both together $250 plus shipping.

Thanks.

Ok looked some more and found that it was Flyboy that posted the template. But my question still stands, are the dimensions good?

Thanks in advance

Yes those are the correct measurements.
You can also try JG F100's build he has a very detailed description.

I'd like some parts off your 360 so pm sent.

Good day and good luck.

Question for those that have installed the CV front ends, what was the measurement between the rear trailing arms studs center to center that anyone has gone with? I have only found one reference to this and it was on a YouTube video.

Thanks again in advance.
