Cool Find!

Post by 67lunargreen »

Not what I was looking for but really cool find. I found the original gas cap to my 67! It has my grandpa's handwriting. He took it off and put a chrome locking gas cap on. I am not sure why he marked and kept it but glad he did!

Yep, now put it in the top of your tool box as a memento and leave the locking one in place. Not sure why but mine disappeared right before a big rain storm...

Yeah, not putting it on. Going to keep it as a momento and paint a new one for shows. Keeping the locking one on the rest of the time. Now if I can just find the order form and owner's manual. I have seen it before. That is what I was looking for.

That's very cool! Especially for the sentimental aspect.
