OEM Supplier for tires?

What was the OEM tire supplier for 67 F100s? If it matters, mine came from Michigan Truck in June of 67. I would like to get radials that look like bias ply. I know they were 815-50s. Has anyone found these with a small (1 inch or less) white sidewall?

This is one of the '70 Explorer specials that was up a Carlisle a couple years ago still wearing the original twin white stripe tires.





I have the dealer windshield banner from my '68 Fairlane that says it came with the special twin blue stripe tires. I still have an original as the spare. It's wearing the red stripe aftermarket bias ply ones in the pic and handled like crap.

So it looks like a Goodyear? I thought it would have been a Firestone, considering Ford/Firestone relationship. In the brochures for 67 it looks like there is only a single sidewall. Or none at all. I couldn't see a brand.

Well, you also need to remember that upgraded tires were a dealer installed option that helped sell a lot of cars. Salesman says he'll throw in a set of twin blue stripes for free if you buy today or in my case, they used the upgraded tire as sale bringer. If I get time I'll try to dig out my window ad and other stuff I got with the car and post some pics.

Oh yeah, on the above Explorer, 2 o'clock position on the tire says Good Year.

Thanks that would be great. I will have to look at the order form to see if it is listed on there. I didn't think about that.
