Dash question
What is the hole just to the right of the emergency flasher for? I don't have anything there.

Re: Dash question
Post a picture or explain better I restore these clusters and don't know of the hole you are talking about. Also is your emergency flasher switch on the dashboard or in the glove box.

Re: Dash question
I am talking about a 71 F-100 Custom on the dash, not the gauge cluster. There is from left to right
Emergency brake light, lights, ignition, wipers, steering column, emergency flasher, Then I have an empty hole. What should be in this hole?

Re: Dash question
I'm not sure if 71's hade a manual choke if it did that would be to the right of the column. Does it have a cargo light that switch would go to the right of the column to. Cigar lighter to. I can't think of any other switch's or accessories that would be there. Anyone else have an idea.

Re: Dash question
It sounds to me that you are missing your cigarette lighter. From the steering column moving right, mine goes steering column, emergency flashers, cigarette lighter.
There are also some great pictures of a 71 F100 Custom in the Galleries section of this site. It looks like that particular truck had some sort of blank filler for the hole in it.
