I'm not sure if this is the right section so moderators , please move to the right section if applicable. Thanks
So ...... my story is I have a 1967 F100 that I have owned for 35 years. I started its restoration in January and I knew I had a few of the typical rust repairs to do. ie cab mounts , floor pans , rockers , center cab brace ends , cab corners. I sent the cab out for blasting and it came back with a rather large hole in the center of the roof at the drip rail and a big section of the drip rail eaten away. It also revealed that there had been extensive damage , wrinkling and hammer dimples on the drivers side cowl that had been hidden with bondo for more than 35 years. I have decided that it was in my best interests to give up on my baby and find another cab.
With that being said, I found a very good one here in Ontario , very surprised , but it is a 1970.
My question is ...... does anyone know the differences between the 1970 and the '67?
I want mine to be a '67. Aside from some badging and reflectors both on the rear bed quarter and the hood emblems and different grilles as well as the different heater controls ( knobs vs sliders ) and radio is there anything else different? I plan on doing a dash swap to cover that portion of the differences. Will all parts , body and suspension , windshield and back glass be interchangeable?
I appreciate any knowledge that anyone can pass along to help me.
Thanks in advance.

Doors are definitely different. Other than what you're already planning and the doors, you might spot something else here. http://www.fordification.com/tech/67-72ID_01.htm

As mentioned before check the ID pictures on the site. Though top of my head I can say doors, HVAC controls, radio opening and tank mounts being stand outs that can be easily seen.

Re: Differences between 1967 and 1970?
Thanks guys. Those links helped out a lot. It looks like there are a lot more differences than I originally thought. Maybe I will have to rethink my plan. Doors would have to be changed as well as the dash , hood needs to be a '67 to accommodate the '67 hood emblems. The bed ends , where the taillights are, would either have to be changed or the bump would have to be remade to fill in where the reflector on the '70 is located , and the list goes on.
Well , maybe I better look for another '67 . Damn hard to find a year specific truck.
Thanks again.

Re: Differences between 1967 and 1970?
as far as sheet metal and body part.....you've got no problems....doors are different only in the mechanisms. My truck is put together as a 70 with 67 parts. you can patch the dash and use the knobs. The end of the bump can be fabricated. It depends on what you can and or what your willing to do Dig up my project thread....anything is possible
I've had enough and I'm not alone
