Fuel sender bolts
Just got the new fuel sender for my in cab tank from Dennis Carpenter and need the bolts to attach it. Anyone know what size they are?

Re: Fuel sender bolts
They are special... Reduced head that flares out to act as a washer, 10-32 thread with a paper washer to seal the fuel vapor. At least on the early 3 hole tank I just checked out.

I have to track down a bench seat anyway so a run to the wrecking yard is imminent. Thanks for the heads up

Just looked at what I have, and it's the five hole sender and tank with a cork gasket. Anyone know if it uses the same kind of bolts?

That's what I pulled my bolt out of, a 5 hole sensor.

Re: Fuel sender bolts
Thanks again, Ranchero. I'll probably swing by the wrecking yard tomorrow. I'm just worried that pulling the sender is how the employees siphon the tank at my local yards. If that's the case, I bet they don't put the bolts in a handy place when they're done. Better than punching a hole in it, I guess
