I've searched a few times, and haven't found a direct reference, so figured I'd ask; Does anyone have a Bronco II fuel tank in their two wheel drive bumpside? Maybe even photos of a short wheel base?
I put an 84 Bronco II fuel tank in my 73 F250 4x4, and I understand the frames are approximately the same width, but wasn't able to confirm for myself. It was a relatively straightforward install.
For some reason, I've not come across anyone putting these in a two wheel drive. Are there any differences that I'm missing? I've seen countless early Mustang and a few Scout tank installs, but I want the filler neck on the drivers side, and I'm planning on getting a newer Bronco II tank with the in-tank fuel injection pump and sending unit.
Thoughts?

The real frame rail width is the same on the bump 2wd and the dent 4wd. Different on the dent 2wd. http://www.fordification.com/tech/fueltank01.htm
