Too Much Lead Foot

Post by Wilfred of Ivanhoe »

I have checked around some and I can't seem to find the pedal mount and arm for the gas. Mine is seized up and broken. I'm thinking the salvage yard might be my best bet. Does anyone else know of a source I might have missed?

Save your money and go get a spray can of Amsoil MP (metal protector) give it a few good doses and it's guaranteed to loosen it up and stay that way.
It will work forever. It's much better than WD-40 or anything like that.
I speak from experience of using it for 20 years or more...
Look in your phone directory or the internet as lots of places sell it in a retail store. If not go to Amsoil.com

I love cheap solutions, but the mount is broken too. It seems to be made of aluminum ...which I have never welded before. :(
