What gears are in my stock 1970 ford f100 bumPside long bed

Anyone know what gears are in my ford 1970 f100 long bed bumPside. And will they be a good street cruising gear with an auto trans

A start would b to check out the technical section on Fordification.com. Look under the front and rear differentials section, it is rear axle assembly I.D.
Others may chime in as there are manual ways to check what it is.

Easiest way is to shimmy under the truck and hope the tag is still there. It'll say the ratio. If it says 4L11 you have 4.11 gears with a traction lock differential. Not many out there. Otherwise 4.11 is 4.11-1 gears with an open diff.
