Rebuilding Restoring Switches
I've collected several switches over the years and some did not want to work. I bent the tabs back on one and took it apart very easy to restore just be carefull of the springs and ball bearings. So don't throw those switches away. Backup, Cargo, Blink Marker lights, Gas Tank Selector, I have not done a headlight or ignition switch don't know if they can be done. Etc

Re: Rebuilding Restoring Switches
I have done the fuel tank switch. I agree that it was not very hard. Mostly what it needed was a cleaning. Other switches have rotted or heat damaged plastic which would need to be replaced. Contacts can be silvered with a high content silver solder.
