1997 f350 with 460...
My truck cranks and idle, but if i touch gas pedal the engine dies out... Any ideas...

Throttle position sensor. Black thingy on the throttle shaft on the TB with three wires coming out. If you slowly open the throttle it should rev up a little but won't rev normally.
