Beep, Beep, The Little Nash Rambler Song. And of course Hot Rod Lincoln. I liked the song so well, I actually built one, well kind of an old dirt farmers rat rod. I took a frame from a '56 Ford car, shortened it 20 inches, installed a 272 Y block, 2 speed auto, welded on a '34 Ford truck cab then proceeded to get chased by every local law enforcement in the area, never got caught! Oh yes, my last name is Cody so got a lot of fun poked at me from my friends over the wild creation. Fun stuff, great idea for a post, hope others can share stories as well!

As I read this post I thought that you were using your phone with auto-correct. Albion Reiver = album review?
I clicked on the link for the Albion. That's an interesting story. I've been trucking in one form or another for just over 20 years (!) and I like to read about things like that.

It's nice to see so many responses. I'm always looking for new music and this is one of the best ways I've found to get it.

I grew up in a 72 F100 white Sport Custom 4x4 4 speed (no power steering) that was my Dad's daily driver.
..the truck I learned to drive in!
It was totalled in an accident and is no longer with us....and neither is my Father.
Needless to say these trucks hold a special place in my heart. Which is why I vowed to eventually own another F100 Sport Custom 4x4 4 speed....and now I do. Same color, just a short bed and has power steering (which I don't mind!). My dream truck...and my 2 year old daughter loved it at first sight! For some reason I don't think that's a coincidence
Anyways...sorry to get sappy. But that's why I like the above song.

70short4x4, never be sorry for having feelings. I've never heard that one before, made me think of my father and brothers, veterans all. Thankfully they survived their wars to come home and live another 40 years, though that was too short.
