What kind of tires are those "out-of-production" ones? Are there any current ones that are similar?

Thank you.

Ill explain the play area first. My father owns 5 acre's on the central coast of cali. The property has been in the family since the early 70's I believe. The property was a chicken ranch in its humble beginnings built in the mid 50's there are two 20,000 sq/ft barnes on site. One barn is fully enclosed and has been asphalted and houses my fathers collectible cars and the lower barn is obvisouly my playground and still dirt floor. I currently have three bumps a boat a cabover camper and my grandpas 76 c10.
The tires are CO-OP Gripsurs 9.00xr16's They have been out of production for a few years now and I found one last set in Colorado. http://fordification.com/forum/viewtopi ... 22&t=57130

To be completely honest i kinda feel lost on the roof story. I think I had mentioned adding marker lights and replacing the jr west coast mirrors with the three mount type and of course adding some sweet mudflaps. Althoughtwe were talking about roof rust repair for awhile. I can cover what I end up doing to the rain gutters in a build thread but essentially you gotta get that old dried up seam sealer out of there rust treat them and re-apply a good qaulity sealer in those channels.

Just a quik update, its been awhile. The crew is still nestled in the barn. I have taken the gem top camper off and had it on my driver 72 4x4 then I pulled it for hauling firewood and its now dangling from the roof of the barn. Im thinking on my birthday ill take a few days off and pull the crew up to the shop and pull the dash apart and finally put in my wiring harness to get it running and driving. My long term plans are converting it to 4x4 and transplanting a cummins and 5-spd into it. ( it may sound cliche' but its what I would like) ill post some pics up when i pull it out and start working on it.

ok its been a long while and I do have some updates. Last year for my brithday i took an evening and grabbed a battery some wires with aligator clips and a internally resisted coil and hotwired the engine. the wiring harness in the truck got fried when the turn signal switch in the column shorted out and it crept everywhere. so I bypassed the truck wiring. the previous owner claimed it was a fresh motor put in the truck back in the 90s and had about 7k miles on it and I was sceptic since it looked horrible. after putting 5 gallons in the tank and using a remote starter switch did get it fire up but it was obvious the carb was leaking internally so i pulled it off for a rebuild. after that put it back on and it fired up and ran beautifully. last week after a year of sitting , hotwired it again and it started up and ran great. dumped a gallon of atf into the tranny and put some brake frluid in it and pumped the master just enought to get the truck to stop I drove it out of the barn under its own power and drove it around the yard. it was night time so i didnt get any pics. but now that some life prioritys seem to be easing up im hoping to spend some more time on this. I have a cherry wire harness out of a donor truck and a really nice steering column out of a junkyard truck im going to put in and make the truck drivable before I do the 4x4 conversion. ill get some updated pics coming soon.

Good afternoon Rich! That's great news. I'll bet that night-time yard cruise was quite a thrill; it's sure exciting to bring an old ride back to life, even if only temporarily.

Just thought id add an update. its been about a year. Life took some crazy turns but I did manage to spend a little time on the crew. A guy I work with came by and took a look at the wiring. ( hes been in the automotive electrical specialty buisness for 20 yrs) and he really took a good look at the fried wiring and said its very repairable and really not that bad. just one wire fried but that can be repaired. we are also going to install a new turn signal switch and replace the missing nuetral saftey switch. Really once the electrical is dealt with i can get it registered and driving. then onto the 4x4 swap. I have all of those parts sitting off to the side.
