motorcraft carburetor 2100 on 1972 F-250 360 engine

Please any help would be appreciated. Can replacing accelerator pump change the carburetor settings as in idle and fuel mixture. After changing acc pump diaphragm , power valve cover gasket and base gasket has made my pickup run poorly. When driving sounds like carburetor is loading up and no power. Please advise adjustment needed.

When I was removing the carburetor or the choke heat tube I disturbed the fast idle adjusting screw. Since I am not well versed on carburetors I have to go slow and retain the knowledge I need to be successful, today she will purr like a kitten.
