Re: Facebook forums killing our main site??
I admit, I spend much more time lately on the Facebook Fordification page than the main forum site. Most of that is due to my truck being basically done. It's a good group on Facebook, just like here. The few problems that arise are usually due to new members who don't know how we do things there/here. They are usually dealt with swiftly.
While the Facebook pages move at a faster pace and give access to other folks who may not be forum members, nothing beats the main forum site for reference and forum discussion. Which one you use depends more on your specific needs. I use both when there's something I really need to research or know.

There is a Facebook Fordification site? That just seems wrong from my 67 year old perspective...... Next people will want to access these sites on one of those new phones.......
(Okay, I am guilty of accessing on my iphone)

I use my phone for everything, for the past couple of years now. The only time I fire up the laptop or tablet is to reply to a comment left by someone on my YouTube videos. YouTube doesn't let me do that on my phone for some reason.

I use my phone to make outgoing calls, and to occasionally snap a picture. Other than that, it isn't even on.
I don't have a smart phone, mines pretty stupid.

Re: Facebook forums killing our main site??
Facebook is the downfall of humanity. Narcissistic junk food 24/7. I have never been a jaded person, but FB makes me dismiss everything posted on as trivial even if it is not. If some posts that they are dying on FB I almost even find that as useless information due to the shear amount of lame postings.
