Bed Liner for a '71 F 250

Post by fijidad »

I've read posts from long ago about the pros and cons of drop in vs. spray on bed liners.

I've had good luck with drop ins, so am headed that way with my '71 F 250.

Problem is when I call ORW or others, their records don't go back to 1971. My question is how different is one bed from another?

I read a post from 2007 that one member had a liner from a 68-83 Chevy in his F 250. I tried an internet search for interchangeability of liners, but came up with more questions than answers.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Dan

Yeah, that was probably me. Mine had one that was marked '75-86 Chevy on it when I pulled it. Worked great for the rust holes in the bed.

I don't have any answers to your questions but if you're near Sacramento, California the car club I belong to has a bedliner out of '71 Camper Special. It's in pretty good shape and the asking price is $100.

I'm in Escondido down by San Diego, so too far for me. I'm warming to the spray in liner, as it turns out. I'm going to do more homework on that, but thanks for the information.

No worries, I just hate to see it go to waste.
