Death of a Bump

Post by CH3NO2 »

This is what's left of my 68 F250 C/S. after some ASS ran a red light and t-boned me.I am 2'nd owner of this truck and have owned it for 22 years. The good side is I crawled out and walked away.It was a helluva ride.I do have another cab and frame so it will live again !!

Mr Ch3 The Lord was surely with you.

I am sorry . :(

I see lots of hard work has been put in the truck.

Maybe you can repair it and she will "live" again. :fr:

The reason it rolled is because I seen he wasn't' going to stop and I swerved to avoid him which caused body roll and he just finished the job. That is why you see me on the wrong side of the road,I tried to get the hell out of the way.If I had been speeding as I usually do,he might have missed me.I had just rebuilt that FE motor the month before and she was making some horsepower. It sat upside down for 2 hrs. waiting on the wrecker and never spilled a drop of oil or trans fluid .Whatcha gonna do? FORD TOUGH? You mean me or the truck?

It happens so fast and after the first couple seconds you are just along for the ride...

Belted in or free floating?

Ford tough, not so much when the cab collapses.
